Stacey and Seth’s story is one we are honored to tell.
After years of dreaming about a family, three rounds of IVF, and lots of heartbreak, they are taking a new step in their journey to have a child. Stacey and Seth asked us to take these images as part of their portfolio to be adoptive parents to a newborn, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to help them in this process. While I’m sure the past few years have often been torturous with disappointment, seeing the hope in their eyes and the love they have to give to their baby makes us so excited to see this part of their story play out. Stacey says, “We have always wanted to adopt after having one or two biological children, but I truly feel this is the path that God is leading us down and he’s telling us “you’re meant to adopt now” — all of the No’s we have heard will finally be a Yes!”
Stacey’s first message to us told us that through everything, Seth has been her rock. When we asked Seth to share how he is feeling about the adoption, his focus was on her: “I am so excited to see Stacey as a mother. Stacey is such a caring nurturing person and our future children will know just how lucky they are to have her as a mom (even if she will smother them a bit, ha!)”
We think smothered with love sounds like a pretty good deal. Congratulations to the Morris family on their exciting new adventure!
