Meagan and Aaron’s Destination Nashville Wedding

In the last few months, Meagan and Aaron completed the tough mudder, bought a house, planned a destination wedding, so much more, all with big smiles on their faces and a true zest for life.

We love these people, so much.  We’re so thankful that their wedding plans brought them to Nashville, that they spent part of their night making crazy faces in the photobooth with us, that they made sure to meet us for donuts before they made their way out of town.  These are the kinds of relationships we envisioned when we started this whole thing, and the only thing that bums us out about Meagan and Aaron is that they live too far away.  We could write a million words about their love for each other — it’s tangible every time they’re together — but we should probably just let them handle that part:

“I love his heart and his spirit.  Aaron is probably one of the happiest people I’ve ever met. He has a way of sharing his joy with everyone he meets, and you can’t help but feel the excitement he has about life and those he is with. He never sweats the small things and constantly encourages me to see the bigger picture and look beyond the small challenges we face. I somehow [even] found the man who has the most positive attitude about the entire moving process.  He is a rock star, no doubt about it.”

“Meg’s selflessness is a quality that everyone can see. Although I feel there are times she needs to put herself first, she will always insist on putting others before her. If we are talking about physical qualities… her brown eyes got me for sure. We joke about it all the time, but her eyes can tell me everything (although she wont admit it).  I can always look into her eyes and know how she is feeling at any given time. The first day we met in Slippery Rock, although I had seen her around before, there was something about the way her eyes caught my attention.”

“One summer Aaron came to visit me in NY. While visiting, my mom ran into a problem with our pool which led to a major leak in one of the hoses. Immediately, Aaron jumped up from his chair and went out to our garage. To no surprise, he returned with some miscellaneous supplies to fix the leak until my mom could get to the store and buy a new hose. While this may seem like a silly example, it was a moment that reminds me of how lucky I am to call this man my partner in life. It reminds me of something my dad would have done, and there is no doubt in my mind that my dad would approve of this caring and selfless man that I’m lucky enough to call my husband.”

“She thinks I am crazy, but I have always felt that when you meet someone special, there is always an instant feeling that gravitates you to them. It was an instant feeling when I met Meg. I’m not being cliché and saying it was love at first sight, but there was such a strong connection on my end when we met, my heart and mind knew I needed to pursue getting to know her. The game of darts was just the excuse to make her talk to me hahaha… it worked.”

Sweetest ever. I just love ’em!  Here’s way too many photos from their day, because I just couldn’t narrow them down (and these are just our faves!)
